For pressurized applications and chemically aggressive environments, the plants are suitable for processing PE, PP-HM and plasticized PVC, used for transporting gas, process water and hydrocarbons.

Finally, Bausano's compounding and pelletizing lines complete the production process, enabling in-house preparation of formulations dedicated to the construction sector: pellets in rigid PVC, plasticized PVC and WPC, ready to be used in subsequent extrusion, molding or thermoforming processes. Each plant is designed to ensure output repeatability, material uniformity and waste reduction, even when using recycled or filled material.

Single-screw and twin-screw extrusion lines for construction applications

Bausano's extrusion lines for the construction sector are configurable according to the material and application, thanks to the availability of high-performance single-screw extruders or parallel co-rotating twin-screw extruders, ideal for processing rigid PVC, plasticized PVC, WPC and additivated blends. Single-screw solutions are used to produce PE and PP pipes, ensuring high output and process stability. Twin-screw versions, on the other hand, offer excellent plasticization capability even with complex formulations, maintaining melt quality and limiting the risk of thermal degradation.
Each line is completed with end-of-line accessories designed to ensure maximum long-term reliability: calibration tables, multi-stage cooling tanks, high-precision haul-off systems, horizontal or vertical cutting units, winding systems and pelletizing and cooling modules. Optimal integration between these elements enables accurate process management, consistent dimensional repeatability and controlled surface quality, even at high production volumes.
Particular attention is paid to reducing energy consumption through the use of Bausano's patented induction heating system, which delivers energy savings of up to 35% compared to conventional resistance systems. Together with the Multidrive transmission, these solutions reduce mechanical stress, increase system efficiency and extend component service life. The entire plant is designed to support the use of recycled material and to meet the sustainability requirements imposed by construction sector directives, contributing to more responsible production oriented toward the circular economy.
