Wollastonite is a natural mineral filler based on calcium silicate, with an acicular structure and reinforcing properties. Its high elastic modulus, thermal stability and compatibility with various polymer matrices make it ideal for technical compounds.
Thanks to its needle-like morphology (high aspect ratio), wollastonite improves rigidity, insulation and heat resistance. It is available in various particle sizes and surface treatments (e.g. silanes) to improve adhesion to the polymer matrix. Impurity content is reduced through magnetic separation and flotation, ensuring high purity.
