The choice of talc type (fine, ultra-fine, treated or natural) and the ideal concentration varies depending on the polymer used, the required properties of the finished product and the plant configuration.
In general, talc content can range between 10% and 40% by weight, but it is essential to calibrate the dosage to avoid issues such as poor dispersion, abrasion of mechanical components or alterations in the material's melt flow index (MFI).
